Maternity Sessions

Pregnancy is an exciting time and it is my pleasure to be part of this journey.

You will never regret getting these photos taken. It is such a special time and your children will thank you also, as it’s a beautiful reminder of where they came from.

Maternity sessions are an excellent way for expectant parents to capture all the joy and anticipation felt during pregnancy. Even if you don’t always feel your best, I make it my priority to help you look your best.

The best time to book your session is at about 20 weeks and the best time to do the session is when the belly is nice and round at 28-32 weeks. This will vary with each woman.

My Working Process

Booking

Looking to book a session? You can fill in the contact form here or email me directly at sharonorourke@live.com. Once I receive your enquiry we will set a date for your session.

Pre-session

Once your session is booked you will receive Terms and Conditions via email to read and sign.

Session day

On the day of your session, I ask that you try to arrive on time, as other sessions may occur on the same day. Please message me if delayed. You will pay your package fee at the end of your session and I will advise you of next steps.

Session editing

Now that I have captured your shots, it's time for the most time consuming part of the process, the editing. My editing timeline is approximately 2-3 weeks, depending on the time of year.

Choose your images

Once you receive your Gallery via email, you will have two weeks to decide on your selected images. Your chosen images can be downloaded directly from the gallery. They download high resolution without watermark. The gallery will remain live for one month.

Final product

If you have added printed images, I will post them out to you or arrange collection. I can deliver them myself, where possible. Prints take on average 3 weeks to process.

FAQ

What should I wear to my session?

Most people have a vision of what their Maternity session will look like and choose their own clothing, however, I do have a few dresses in studio for clients to wear if they prefer.

Can partners and other children come to the Maternity session?

Absolutely! It is their experience as much as yours.
